SixDegrees.org unveiled a sneak peek of the six inaugural Purpose, Produced campaigns in a fireside chat with founder Kevin Bacon to close out opening day on Advertising Week New York’s main stage.

In a first-of-its-kind initiative in partnership with Advertising Week, SixDegrees.org, the nonprofit founded by actor, musician, and philanthropist Kevin Bacon, launched Purpose, Produced in April, a groundbreaking initiative amplifying the voices of nonprofits driving real change in their communities. Out of hundreds of applicants and a people’s choice vote, six nonprofits were chosen to receive a fully-produced advertising campaign pro bono by one of six industry-leading agencies.
Through Purpose, Produced, SixDegrees.org and Advertising Week are revolutionizing what corporate social responsibility can look like in creative industries. Nonprofits across the country are facing unprecedented challenges as funding is rolled back from a variety of sources. SixDegrees.org encourages companies across all sectors to engage employees through their passions and expertise to support local nonprofits and make an impact in their communities.
“Purpose, Produced is all about rewriting the playbook for how advertising agencies and creative partners can support the grassroots nonprofits that are the fabric of our society,” said Stacy Huston, Executive Director of SixDegrees.org. “So often these organizations doing this critical work go unnoticed, and Purpose, Produced is proving that when cause meets creative, the potential for impact is limitless.”
Bray & Co is leveraging its unique ability to recontextualize perceptions in a campaign designed to shine a light on DarkSky International’s work to restore the nighttime environment and protect communities from the harmful effects of light pollution.
Crispin has channeled its bold approach to creativity into a powerful campaign for Find Your Anchor, a nonprofit committed to suicide prevention, awareness, and education.
Duncan Channon has a track record of delivering youth-centered, culturally attuned campaigns that lead with honesty and heart, making it an exceptional agency partner to raise the profile of survivor-led B.E. A S.H.E.R.O. Foundation’s work to support, sustain, and empower young women who have been exploited.
Rain the Growth Agency is harnessing its roots as one of the few female-founded agencies in the country to drive awareness of GlamourGals Foundation’s mission to empower teens and alleviate elder loneliness through intergenerational conversation and companionship.
The Variable’s belief in the transformative power of creativity is the driving force behind its powerful work on a campaign designed to make Trauma Intervention Programs, Inc.’s emotional first aid efforts known on a national scale.
Versus, known for its out-of-the-box approach to advertising, is a natural fit to elevate Pulse of Perseverance Project’s unique approach to culturally relevant mentorship for underserved youth.
“Seeing the Purpose, Produced campaigns come to life was a profoundly meaningful moment that showed how impactful creative resources can be when used for good,” said Michael Gewirtzman, Global Vice President of Programming at Advertising Week. “This isn’t the culmination; it’s the beginning of the next chapter, a story we’re honored to help tell as it unfolds.”
The nonprofits and agencies were matched in June, and the creativity has been flowing since. The campaigns developed through Purpose, Produced will roll out on a national scale starting this fall and continue through early 2026. SixDegrees.org, Advertising Week, and every participating nonprofit and advertising agency are eager to share these campaigns with the world.
