This year, Georgia Aquarium has expanded its Halloween spirit with a completely revamped atrium featuring Halloween decor. Visitors are invited to explore the haunted depths of Ocean Voyager with roaming pirates, dive into the Tropical Diver Gallery, transformed into a Mermaids Grotto, or perhaps take the River Scout’s Haunted Jungle Cruise where eerie sounds, ghostly sights and many surprises await.
The adventure ramps up with an enhanced trick or treat experience, featuring new routes and more goodies stations.
To get the word out, Georgia Aquarium set sail this year with an updated seasonal Haunted Seas campaign.
Created by indie agency Doe-Anderson, the work includes an expansive range of media spanning CTV/YouTube to streaming audio/radio, digital display, search, TV, OOH, print and social.
The campaign is running in key media such as: CTV on Disney, Hulu, Scripps, CBS, ESPN etc; linear TV, including cable spots on Halloween programming on the Hallmark Channel and Lifetime as well as on NFL, College Football and NBA games, plus print ads in magazines like TravelGirl, Atlanta Parent and the Atlanta Jewish Times. There are also streaming audio ad units on Pandora, Spotify, iHeart, Podcasts and others as well as radio spots in multiple markets along with programmatic display ads, DOOH ads via video, and billboards, banners and paid search via Google Ads. Rounding out the media presence are Adara display and video platforms targeting travelers to Atlanta as well as paid social media on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
